- Often found in mountainous areas and highlands
- Zebras live in small herds, usually the adult stallion runs with several mares and foals
- Young stallions, which do not yet belong to a herd, are often found together in so-called “bachelor herds”
- They are common in areas like Karas, Khomas, Erongo and Kunene.
- They are perfectly adapted to savannah and bush areas as well as shrubland and grassland.
- The best time to hunt a zebra is at sunrise and sunset
- The best chance to hunt a mature stallion is on a walk&stalk-hunt
