Indigenous to Namibia
Historical habitat range in the northern and northwestern regions of the country
- Only the males carry spike-like horns directed backwards, which are so short that the forehead crested (long hair on the crested head) usually surpasses the horns in length
- The horns are about 7-8 cm long
- In a “Past Prime” male, the “ornament ring-section” on the horn is visible
