- Zebras are found in small herds. Usually the adult stallion accompanies with several mares and foals
- Young stallions, which do not yet belong to a herd, run together in so-called bachelor herds
- They are common in areas like Caprivi, Kunene and Otjozondjupa
- They are perfectly adapted to savannah, bush and grassland areas.
- The best time to hunt a zebra is at sunrise and sunset.
- The best chance to hunt a mature stallion is when stalking.
